John Nelson from the USA
Greetings,
John Charles Nelson here from Portland, Oregon USA.
I have been reenacting WW2 British, mainly Para, for 5 years.
Heard about the Dunkirk March and set a personal goal to do the 75th anniversary. Even the wife consented to postponing our planned 2014 Europe vacation to do it. I've earmarked my budget this year to finishing my BEF kit and am greatly looking forward to it.

Hello,
I'm new to the march. I currently live Montana, USA. I'm a long time British WWII reenactor here in the states, mostly A&SH. I already have a BEF kit and would love to come out for this event. There are 3 more form my unit that are interested in attending. My good friends Stephen Keller and Mick Burgess attended the last march and I have heard nothing but good things.

Darren Berry.
Live in Somerset, talk like I'm from Somerset and had a little do do with the march last time.
For those who know me I did a fair bit of shouting and I measure in Kilometers, usually about 2 at a time, and was hated for it by some of the guys last time. But never been so proud of a group of guys in my life.
Managed to raise over £1000 lat time for H4H to try to repay what was done for one of our own (Pete Cosgrove) who wasn't looking where he was going and got blown up.
Now going to be a part of the 75th anniversary march and look forward to seeing new and old faces doing themselves proud.
Oh and I'm crap on computers and struggle to keep up with forums so feel free to text 07585 112615 if you need me urgently or email me.
Good to see so many of you aboad! Daz

Britain’s role in the battle of France in 1940 has long been my special area of interest. I really wanted to attend the last time but unfortunately Dunkirk always clashes with my annual trip to the Isle of Man for the TT races; however in 2015 they are holding the races a week later than normal which finally gives me the opportunity to attend and I am really looking forward to the experience.

Thanks to Jon for letting me post here. I shan't be doing the march but am based in Belgium and have an ex-BEF (2 Div) motorcycle and hope to be able to meet up with you at some point. I have a fanatical interest in the BEF.

David Austin, RN (Rtd).
Although I will not be actually marching with you on the day I will have the memory of my father-in-law who was on the same route in 1940 with K battery 5 RHA.
But I am supporting the march by making arrangements to re-enact the beach lift in small boats at Dunkirk beach and events at Dover/Ramsgate.
At present day WW2 railway events I present the Royal Navy as a Commander in honour of Cmdr Lightoller who took his boat Sundowner to Dunkirk and rescued 130 men.
